We’re excited to bring a new retirement community choice to Colorado Springs. With construction scheduled to be completed in 2023, Aberdeen Ridge offers an active independent living lifestyle along with a continuum of care all in one place. We believe you should be able to keep enjoying your active lifestyle now and have the security of knowing there’s a plan in place if your future needs change.
Whether it’s our amenity-rich independent living and assisted living, where seniors have the freedom to choose their own destinies, or a warm and comfortable neighborhood supported by memory care — we’re here to make sure all residents are able to live the way they want to live.
THE NOT-FOR-PROFIT DIFFERENCE
Our organization’s not-for-profit structure means we are better able to serve our residents and the larger communities where we operate — because we’re able to focus all our resources to live out our mission rather than serving shareholders. What does this look like in practice?
- As part of our commitment to providing quality senior services, PMMA (Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America) provides millions of dollars annually in charitable care through our Good Samaritan Program, which enables residents who outlive their financial resources to continue to live in PMMA’s senior living communities.
- A volunteer board of trustees governs PMMA and holds the leadership accountable to upholding our mission.
- Each campus has a mission comprised of leaders from the greater community area who provide insight and guidance for philanthropic efforts.
- We invest in communities that invest in us. People come to our campus locations because we are engaged in the communities where we operate. These communities are our homes and we are here to serve seniors in these towns and cities.
